Visual Metaphor
This was most definitely one of my favorite projects. The gist of this project was to find an excerpt from a book or poem you enjoyed. In my case, I chose the book "Walden" by Henry David Thoreau because of the beautiful meaning of solitude and being at rest with the wilderness. I chose photos from one of my favorite Finnish photographers Juuso Håmålåinen because I felt they fit the story line perfectly. For being only a two week project i'm so happy with how my finals turned out. Below you will find the first three were my printed out finals, and below those are all ideations leading up to.
